Israeli Elbit Systems is to provide its EHUD fully autonomous air combat maneuvering instrumentation (ACMI) system to an undisclosed navy in South Asia, to be used by aircraft borne fighter jets.
Indian Navy is most probably the client, since it is the sole Asian force beside China, to operate aircraft carriers.
Elbit announced the $27 million deal on 17 August. Its duration is two years, followed by a three-year period of availability-based maintenance.
